HISTORY OF WMCI
The World Ministry Church International was founded by Pastor Dwumah Frimpong in 2003 with about ten (10) members. Rev. Dr. Charles Rogers and his late wife Mama Fay Rogers of World Ministry Fellowship remained as our sponsors from the very beginning.
The church met at the Brown Station Elementary school in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The location of the church was moved several times to other schools in the Gaithersburg area due to each school’s desire to permit and restrain church services in their respective facility at certain times of the year. The repeated state of relocations affected the church in many ways. However, in 2018, after fifteen (15) years the Lord made a provision for us to move out of the school to take ownership of our current place of worship.
The membership of the church is diverse as it comprises of people from several different countries including the United States of America, Haiti, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leon, Mozambique, Liberia, Ivory Coast, and Togo.
